Impran is a ready-to-use solvent-based stone impregnation. The solvents are free of aromatic hydrocarbons. Impran penetrates deeply into the pores and capillaries of the stone, dries rapidly and is tread-proof afterwards. Depending on the absorbency level of the stone, 1-4 applications are necessary. Upon drying, the stone becomes water and oil repellent. After 48 hours, Impran is completely dry and tread-proof. Impran does not affect the steam permeability of the stone. Treated stone floors keep their original appearance and are protected for a long time. Since neither dirty cleaning solutions, nor grease or oils can penetrate the stone, they can be removed easily. Impran is alkali and UV resistant. It reduces salt efflorescences, the formation of moss and algae, as well as mould and frost damage. A DIN certificate is available (German Industrial Norm DIN 15130) confirming that surfaces impregnated with Impran are tread-proof.
For impregnation of newly laid floors or old, thoroughly cleaned natural and artificial stone or ceramic floors with porous or absorbent surfaces. For example, porcelain tiles, granite, porphyre, gneiss, marble, sandstone, agglomerate stone, terrazzo tiles, clinker, clay floor tiles, concrete and concrete screed. The surface has to be completely dry and free of soil, wax and grease.
